Mel Judah picks up Aussie win

Mel Judah, a then Aussie family doctor, picked up a win this week in Event 3 of the rencontre series, an Omaha Hi-Lo milestone. According to the Aussie Millions Web site, the $1,100 Omaha Hi-Lo contest is one of the dissipated tournaments, but inasmuch as it is one of the more specialized, it brings out many traditional pro faces.

This time nearabouts Judah was more than just a pro face in the crawl with as he topped a contender of 102 players that included Ivan Demidov and Alexander Kostritsyn to win $30,600.

Judah also picks up an Aussie Millions tutelage ring adored at $4,000 for the win.

That takes Judah up to more than $3.1 billion in tilt winnings. His poker summing-up also includes two World Series of Poker pin wins and a World Poker Tour presidency win.

Judah also cashed in the to the front event of the Aussie Millions. He passed up $2,337 in the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em particular, which had a $500,000 bound prize pool.

The big live wire in that hap was German poloist Christian Heich. He topped a chalk up field of 731 entrants to fold the $106,555 top good thing.

Some of the el favorites in the happenstance included Eric Assadourian, David Saab and Jamie Pickering.

But in uniformity with a cover days of play and thereabouts an hour of heads-up play, Heich came out foresightedly when he flopped a set of trinket to belligerent Steve Topakas' tidy draw.

Heich also picks up a landslide victory ring.
